Stop Cat Sneezing - Top 3 Methods to Cure Your Sneezing Cat

How can you stop cat sneezing or stop kitten sneezing? Generally there are only a few causes for your kitty's sneezing. Let's look at the top three ways to stop cat allergies and get your feline friend back in fine health as quickly and safely as possible.

Cat sneezing comes from either a local cause, a physical errant or a deeper issue (upper respiratory, feline hiv or herpes, dental problems.) Since you and I are not vets, we have to narrow down the cause before we can attempt to stop cat sneezing. Therefore we are going to have to go through a checklist to determine the problem.

1 - Blow Your (Cat's) Nose

Gently hold your cat's head, and give a medium-strength puff of air to his nostrils. Often times, a cat will get a piece of dander, dust or other irritant lodged in his nose, and this is all it takes to stop cat sneezing. Your cat may act a little upset, but remember, you are helping him out, and he will forget in short order. If this does not stop the sneezing, move on to #2.

2 - Give Him a Shave!

Not really! Put those razors down, step away from the shaving cream, we were just kidding. But one way to stop cat sneezing is to remove any crimped or misplaced whiskers. Gently hold Tabby's head and check to see if she has any whiskers that are tickling her nose. A hair could also become lodged in her nose, giving her a terrible tickle, causing her to sneeze in an attempt to free the problem.

3 - Track his Sneezing

Check to see if he sneezes more indoors or out. Just like humans, he may have developed an allergic reaction to something. If you notice that it is a seasonal allergy, keep him indoors during his sneezy season. And if you notice he sneezes indoors but not outside, it is time to do some cleaning.

If these three efforts do not stop kitten sneezing, this could be a sign of a more concerning issue. The next step to take is to apply a natural homeopathic remedy. These all natural remedies are the next line of defense before you take your pet on an expensive veterinarian visit. They are also safe, all-natural with no side effects, and fast-acting. Most times they will stop cat sneezing, returning your little fur-ball to his original healthy self.
